Things To Know Before Starting The Healing Journey

            It's been a while since i posted something , i've been away for so long , long enough to figure out so many aspects of my life and i found out that the only answer to what's going ''wrong'' in my life is simply ''SELF-HEALING'' . 

            For the past years i've been dealing with issues as if there's always someone to blame for everything that happened and there's actually someone out there that would help to solve them . While the answer was never outside of me and the moment i knew that my inner conflicts are just the result of ignoring the parts of me that need healing , my whole idea about '' healing '' changed completely . 

            It's not an easy process but i went through it anyway , i had no choice but to face my own demons and during the process i learned so much about it . So here are some things that you should know if you consider taking this step : 

            * Taking the first step towards healing simply means finding ways to accept or make peace with your past traumas knowing for a fact that whatever have happened in the past cannot be changed , erased or denied .

            * Forgiving is always a choice that can be made only for your own good not for others , also means that you're willing to move on not to start over . Forgive not Forget .

            * Being triggered by something only means that there's something wrong with you and there's no one to blame but you need to look deeper into the parts of you that needs healing so that you won't be triggered by the same things again .  

            * Learn how to respond not to react , give yourself enough time to clear your head and sort things out before you make a decision . 

            * People's opinions about you is none of your concern and you shouldn't be offended by them because each and everyone you meet has a different version of you in their mind and you can never change that . it depends on how they see you based on how they see the world and how they deal with their internal world . 

            * Being aware of your self-talk is the key, talk to yourself as you're talking to someone you love and care about.

            * Where attention goes energy flows , when you focus on yourself you grow and it includes getting rid of anything that drains your energy . it could be people , things , habits ...  

            * Deciding to start this journey isn't an overnight decision , it requires committing to it even if it may seem difficult or " uncomfortable" at first . 

            * You're not your thoughts , you're the consciousness that observes . Thoughts are just thoughts until you decide to fuel them with energy and attention causing the '' feelings '' like anxiety , stress , depression ... 

            * Enjoying your own company is the best thing that can happen to you . once you choose to be alone instead of feeling lonely , nothing will ever be the same . 

            These are some of my observations and realizations during my process of healing and there's more so i wanted to share them with you . In the next posts , i'm going to share what i've done that helped me so far to go over my inner conflicts .
